Family Health Services
Primary Care that Covers the Full Household
At our Medical Center, family care isn’t an add-on – it’s the core of what we do. Dr. Daniela Pineda leads our general medicine division. She’s licensed under the Mexican General Health Council and trained in integrative family medicine in Monterrey. Her team includes internal medicine specialists like Dr. Luis Escalante and nurse coordinator Patricia García, who oversees patient onboarding and care continuity. Every professional at MexGlobal is fully credentialed, and every consultation is documented using secure digital records.
We operate under one roof – diagnostics, pharmacy, physician care – with full synchronization between each service. That means no long waits for lab results, no miscommunication between offices, and no fragmented prescriptions. You walk in, your doctor reviews your full profile – medication history, lab work, and previous diagnoses – and gets you what you need the same day. That coordination extends into our online pharmacy, which operates on the same patient ID system, allowing for remote refills and treatment monitoring without missing a beat.
Pediatrics, Immunizations, and Growth Monitoring
Dr. Paulina Cervantes heads our pediatric service. Her experience in early-childhood development and preventive vaccination programs makes her especially attentive to milestone tracking and dose adjustments. All pediatric records comply with NOM-004-SSA3-2012 to ensure every step of care is traceable and aligned with national health protocols.
Our center runs full vaccination schedules for children under 12, including Pentavalente, Hepatitis B, and seasonal influenza. We also carry specialized pediatric formulations through the Mexican pharmacy – such as amoxicillin-clavulanate in banana flavor suspension, chewable cetirizine for allergies, and oral electrolytes for dehydration. These are stocked based on prescription patterns and tracked by lot number and expiration date in our digital inventory. Nutritional monitoring is another priority. We assess BMI percentile, hemoglobin levels, and diet habits, with immediate referrals for pediatric nutrition counseling when needed. This isn’t a rushed five-minute visit – it’s a full cycle of care with lab access, dosage control, and real guidance for parents trying to manage a child’s health while working full time.
Chronic Disease Support for Adults and Seniors
At MexGlobal, chronic disease isn’t treated passively. Dr. Rodrigo Mejía – formerly with IMSS Hospital General de Occidente – oversees our internal medicine program. Every patient with a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, hypertension, or metabolic syndrome enters our structured monitoring track. That includes scheduled bloodwork, medication reviews, and prescription management, synced with our pharmacy system to reduce missed refills and dosing errors.
For older adults, Dr. Silvia Romero runs a specialized intake system focused on fall prevention, polypharmacy screening, and early cognitive decline indicators. Every new senior patient undergoes a reconciliation process that includes bringing in all current medications, vitamins, and supplements for cross-checking. Our in-house pharmacy flags duplicate therapies, potential interactions, and discontinued drugs – all before they’re dispensed. Seniors who can’t physically return for frequent check-ins are linked to the MexGlobal online pharmacy platform, which manages monthly refills, tracks compliance, and alerts staff if something goes unclaimed. That level of coordination keeps long-term care on track, even for patients with mobility limitations.
Women’s Health Without the Wait
Women’s health is handled on-site by Dr. Mariana Solís, who specializes in gynecology and reproductive endocrinology. She manages consultations ranging from PCOS and contraception to perimenopausal therapy. There’s no need for external OB-GYN referrals for common issues. Patients see Dr. Solís, get lab orders, receive ultrasounds if needed, and walk out with a treatment plan and prescription from the same clinic.
We stock a full range of contraceptives – oral, patch, injectable – as well as hormone replacement options like estradiol gel and micronized progesterone. Everything is tracked through our integrated system with Mexico Pharmacy, which allows us to sync treatment timelines and lab follow-ups. Pregnancy monitoring is also in place for the first two trimesters, with routine prenatal labs and ultrasounds handled in-house. For high-risk cases, Dr. Solís refers patients to specialized maternity centers in Guadalajara but maintains full data exchange through our electronic record system.
On-Site Diagnostics and Immediate Dispensing
Our diagnostics lab is headed by biochemist Arturo Molina, with a focus on same-day processing of core tests – CBC, glucose, liver panel, urinalysis, and pregnancy screenings. He works alongside our digital health technician Isabel Ruíz, who ensures results are uploaded into the patient’s file within hours of sampling. This matters when prescriptions depend on timely results. The moment the lab uploads a glucose panel, the physician sees it, adjusts the medication, and triggers the digital prescription. Our in-house pharmacy – run by chief pharmacist Alejandra Torres – receives the order in real time, verifies inventory, and dispenses it before the patient leaves. Alejandra’s team also handles dosing education, refill calendar setup, and labeling in both Spanish and English – a key detail for patients coordinating care with family members abroad or managing cross-border shipments.
What Makes the MexGlobal Model Work
We didn’t build a collection of disconnected services. We built a care system that thinks like a household. From pediatrics to geriatrics, everything flows through a single clinical channel – tracked, coordinated, and tightly managed. Each department speaks to the others. The pharmacy isn’t a vendor – it’s part of the team. Every prescription is tied to a real consult, a lab result, and a patient file that moves with them, both in-person and online.
